IW BOOSTER CLUB MINUTES – June 8, 2016 Meeting
Members present included Cathy Crego, Jim Miller, Marisa Perzee, Rob Fink and Stacy Connor aHh JimJi JjjjjjjjjjjJHansHans.
MINUTES: April 2016 minutes were reviewed. (There was no May meeting.) Cathy moved to approve the minutes; Marisa seconded, all in favor – motion carried.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Cathy presented the treasurer’s reports for the months of April and May. Marisa moved to approve the treasurer’s reports, Rob seconded, all in favor – motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS
BRICKS FUNDRAISER: Stacy gave an update. IWYFL will be willing to help if something is erected at the entrance.
AD SALES: Jenifer St. Peter will be the liaison with the soccer team. Marisa Perzee also offered to help. Boosters discussed, that in prior years, business owners appreciate seeing the athletes.
QUOTES FOR PROGRAMS: Tabled until July.

NEW BUSINESS
MS SOUND SYSTEM: Stacy presented the information sent by Mr. Ehmen. The estimate is $19,878.04. Column speakers along the stage to amplify out to the gym floor would be an additional $5,569.73. The district is prepared to spend $14,500. Stacy will speak with the music boosters and ask if they are considering contributing.
SHIRTS FOR COACHES: In the past, new coaches who are teachers receive a t-shirt (donated by the booster club) through the PTT welcome baskets. Suggestion was made to make sure new coaches who are not teachers receive an item of IW apparel. Boosters agreed to do so. Mr. Meyer will submit a final list of coaches once all coaching assignments are in place.

Marisa seconded. All in favor – motion carried.

The following tasks were assigned:

Marisa Perzee – Farmers (Danforth)
Cathy moved, and Rob seconded, the chairperson assignments and tasks as listed above. All in favor.
It was noted that someone will be needed to monitor the website and update as needed.
ROUND TABLE:
As we transition elected officers, several items were discussed:
- IW Booster Club debit card
- Key to concessions
- Changing signatures on the bank account
Riley Miller sent a Thank You card for receiving the gift card when the wrestling team went to state.
Several names were suggested to contact to ask them to participate in boosters.
